1. How Credits Work
Pod2Reels uses a credit-based system. Each clip generation job consumes credits based on the duration of video processed (1 credit = 30 seconds). New accounts receive 50 free credits. Paid packages grant additional credits that are added to your account balance upon confirmed payment.
2. Automatic Refunds for Failed Jobs
If a job fails at any stage — transcript fetch, AI analysis, or clip generation — any credits frozen or consumed for that job are automatically refunded to your account. You do not need to contact us for this; refunds happen in real time as part of our error handling.
3. Consumed Credits (Completed Jobs)
Credits consumed for successfully completed jobs — where a clip was generated and made available for download — are non-refundable. This mirrors how metered services work: the compute and storage resource was used to produce your output.
If a completed clip is technically defective (e.g. no video stream, corrupted file), contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and restore credits where appropriate.
4. Purchased Credit Packages
We offer a 7-day refund window on purchased credit packages, provided you have used fewer than 20% of the credits in that package. To request a refund, email us at developerhyder@gmail.com with your order details within 7 days of purchase.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
After the 7-day window, or once more than 20% of credits have been used, the purchase is non-refundable.
5. Free Credits
The 50 free credits granted to new accounts have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Watermark and Plan Upgrades
Upgrading to a paid plan removes the watermark from all future clips. The plan upgrade itself is non-refundable once clips without a watermark have been generated using that plan.
7. Disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error or have a dispute not covered above, contact us at hello@pod2reels.com. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
